PREPARATION COURSE FOR LIFE IN THE UK 2020 TEST

Who is this course for?

Anyone applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK or British Citizenship must pass the Life in the UK test. The test is a requirement under the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 to demonstrate adequate knowledge of British life and sufficient proficiency in the English language.

Course overview

This course covers all you need to know to pass the Life in the UK test, as set out in the Home Office guidance: ‘Life in the United Kingdom: A guide for new residents’ (3^rd edition). Our experienced tutors will ensure you are fully prepared for the test, providing guidance in small groups or one-to-one depending on your needs. The course includes opportunities to sit practice tests.

Tests must be booked in advance and taken at an approved test centre – you can do this online at www.lituktestbooking.co.uk

All candidates must bring photographic ID/passport and proof of address to the test

Exam fee: £50

Duration of the test: 45 minutes

Assessment method: computer-based multiple-choice questions

Pass mark: 75%

Certification: Successful candidates will receive their pass notifications on the day.

Validity of certificate: unlimited
