What do I need to apply for the CSCS Green Labourers Card?
You will need to complete the following:
- One-day Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Course.
- CITB Operatives & Specialists HS&E Test.
What is a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Course?
Anyone wanting to work in the construction industry in the UK needs a CSCS card. To apply for a CSCS Green Labourer Card, you need to pass a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Course, as well as the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test. Without this qualification you cannot work in the construction industry in the UK.
What is the CITB Operatives & Specialists HS&E Test?
It is a multiple choice test on health, safety and environmental issues in construction.
What is the Full Package?
It is an all-inclusive CSCS package with the required parts to be eligible for the CSCS Green Labourers card.
What does the Full Package include?
- Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Course.
- CITB Operatives & Specialists HS&E Test.
- CSCS Green Labourers Card.
What days is the course available?
This course is available every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am – 5pm.

CITB Test can be booked with voice-overs in the following languages:

Are all exams done on the same day?
Yes, both the Level 1 course and CITB Test can be done on the same day.
Do we receive certificates for both tests?
For the Level 1 course you will receive the certificate on your email on the following day subject to you passing the exam. For CITB test, an official score sheet is provided to you as soon as you finish the exam.
How long does it take for the card to arrive?
10 working days from the time we receive the certificate.
What happens if I fail the Level 1 Course?
We offer resit for a reduced fee of £50 for the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Course.
What happens if I fail the CITB test?
If you are not successful first time around. You will need to sit another test after 48 hours of your initial test time.
Do I have to take any Identification to the test centre?
Yes, you will need to take a valid UK Driving Licence or Passport. If you do not have either of these documents, we can provide you with a Waiver form that you can fill out and use on the day.
